Body Found Floating In North San Diego County Pond
A dead man was found floating in a pond about a mile northwest of Pauma Valley Country Club, according to sheriff's officials.
PAUMA VALLEY, CA – A dead man was found floating in a pond early Monday in a rural area in northern San Diego County.
The discovery was reported shortly after midnight off the 14200 block of Old Cole Grade Road, about a mile northwest of Pauma Valley Country Club, according to sheriff's officials.
The county Medical Examiner's Office was called in to take custody of the body for identification and autopsy purposes. Sheriff's homicide detectives were notified but did not go to the scene of the fatality, presumably due to a lack of suspicious circumstances, Lt. Amber Baggs said.
