Brush Fire Erupts Near Daley Ranch In Escondido
The blaze broke out on Rincon Avenue near Fawn Creek Lane in unincorporated Escondido.

ESCONDIDO, CA – A brush fire erupted Monday night near Daley Ranch in unincorporated Escondido.
The blaze broke out around 11:30 p.m. on Rincon Avenue near Fawn Creek Lane, Cal Fire officials said. Crews from Cal Fire and Escondido Fire Department responded to the scene.
The flames burned about 4 acres and did not threaten any structures, according to Cal Fire.

As of 10 a.m. Tuesday, the slow-moving fire, called the Rincon Fire, was 50 percent contained, officials said.
The fire was caused by illegal fireworks, according to the Escondido Fire Department.
