Brush Fire Burning Near I-15, SR-78 In Escondido
BREAKING: One lane of the eastbound SR-78 connector ramp to SB I-15 was initially closed due to the fire.

ESCONDIDO, CA – A small brush fire broke out Monday near Interstate 15 and State Route 78. One lane of the eastbound SR-78 connector ramp to SB I-15 was closed due to the fire, according to Caltrans.
Traffic was slowed from Sycamore Avenue.
All lanes reopened by roughly 3:50 p.m.
