ESCONDIDO, CA – A small brush fire sparked alongside Interstate 15 in the Escondido area, prompting the closure of two lanes and a nearby off-ramp Monday afternoon.
The blaze broke out alongside I-15 at Deer Springs Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. No structural threats have been reported.
