A brush fire sparked Thursday alongside Interstate 15 in Escondido.
ESCONDIDO, CA – A small brush fire sparked Thursday alongside Interstate 15 in Escondido.
The blaze broke out off northbound I-15 at El Norte Parkway. The fire was first reported shortly after 3:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP issued a Sig-alert at 3:49 p.m. Traffic was backed up in the area.
