ESCONDIDO, CA – Firefighters quickly halted the spread of a brush fire Friday afternoon in Escondido.
The blaze broke out near Oak Hill Elementary School on Oak Hill Drive and Slivkoff Drive, according to officials at the Escondido Fire Department.
Smoke was visible in the area.
