Crews Quickly Contain Brush Fire Near Fallbrook
The blaze, called the Cathy Fire, scorched four acres and threatened at least one structure, according to Cal Fire.

DE LUZ, CA – Crews quickly contained a brush fire that sparked Tuesday afternoon in northern San Diego County.
The blaze broke out at Daily Road and Lynda Lane in the community of De Luz near Fallbrook, according to Cal Fire. The moderately-spreading fire, called the Cathy Fire, scorched four acres and threatened at least one structure.
By 2:40 p.m., firefighters had halted the spread of the flames. The blaze was 50 percent contained by 4 p.m.

Crews were expected to remain at the scene for a few more hours.
