DDMWC Pipeline Project to impact Lake Drive traffic

Begins Wednesday, Sept 4

DDMWC PIPELINE PROJECT: On Wednesday, Sept 4, the Del Dios Mutual Water Company will
commence Phase 2 of the Pipeline Project along Lake Drive from Quince to
Tamarack. The project should take two to three weeks to complete. No disruption
in water service is anticipated during the project, though if a short-term
shutoff is needed, customers will be informed.

Traffic will be directed to one lane of Lake Drive, with possible detours to
upper-level streets as needed. PK Mechanical is the contractor and will lay the new pipeline, install hydrants, coordinate traffic, and repave Lake Drive. Roy Dunn, DDMWC Superintendent, will overseethe project.

Phase two continues the DDMWC multiyear project to upgrade our water
system with new 10-inch pipeline, and will add four new fire hydrants along this
stretch of the route. We anticipate Phase 3 to take place in 2023.
