Discovery Isle Donates Care Packages to Local Firefighters

Summer campers at Discovery Isle Preschool in San Marcos recently presented care packages to firefighters who are fighting the California wildfires and thanked them for protecting the community. The care packages contained food and supplies, including granola bars, energy drinks, lip balm, snacks, oatmeal, sports drinks, sunscreen, soup, cookies and energy bars. The firefighters visited the campers to accept the care packages and explain the work they do to help keep everyone safe. Through this initiative, campers learned the importance of supporting their local community.
