Law enforcement explorer programs are sponsored by agencies throughout the country. The programs serve as a way for teenagers and young adults to gain invaluable insight into the law enforcement profession, while also giving back to the community through volunteer work. Many explorers later move on to careers throughout law enforcement, including police officers, dispatchers, community service officers, etc.
