Escondido Police Searching For Missing Man

Raul Valdez, 48, left his home without his medication putting his health at risk, according to police.

ESCONDIDO, CA – Police asked for the public's help Monday in finding a man who went missing in Escondido.

Raul Valdez, 48, was discovered missing from his home on Bear Valley Parkway. He left his home without his medication putting his health at risk, according to the Escondido Police Department.

"He requires medication and may become disoriented if the medication is not taken," police said.

Valdez does not have a car and usually walks to and from his residence staying on the east side of Escondido.

Valdez, who is Latino, walks with a crutch and wears his hair pulled into a pony tail. He may be wearing a dark shirt and jeans.
