Package Prompts Evacuation At North County Strip Mall

ESCONDIDO, CA -- A suspicious package prompted an evacuation Saturday afternoon at a North County strip mall. 10News reported a person "made a threat and set a canister on the floor inside one of the stores" at 405 North Escondido Boulevard.

A bomb squad reportedly arrived at the scene and determined the package was not dangerous, 10News said.
