Firefighters Battle 3-Acre Fire Near Escondido
The fire sparked around 3 p.m. in the area of Old Guejito Grade and Stonebridge roads in unincorporated Escondido, officials said.

ESCONDIDO, CA – Firefighters battled a 3-acre brush fire Thursday near Escondido.
The fire sparked around 3 p.m. in the area of Old Guejito Grade and Stonebridge roads in unincorporated Escondido, according to Cal Fire. Ground and airborne crews attacked the slow-moving blaze, containing the flames in about an hour.
There were no reports of structural damage or injuries.

Hidden Trails Road was closed until roughly 7 p.m. due to the fire, officials said.
