Fleeing Driver Causes 3-Injury Rollover Crash Near Escondido

ESCONDIDO, CA - A hit-and-run crash in Escondido early Monday left three vehicle occupants with minor injuries.

The three victims had been in a vehicle that overturned after colliding with a second vehicle near the intersection of East El Norte Parkway and North Ash Street shortly after 2:30 a.m., according to Escondido police. They were all treated at the scene.

The second vehicle involved in the crash was found abandoned a few blocks away, police said. A description of the driver was not immediately available.
