Gas Leak Contained In Escondido

ESCONDIDO, CA – Crews contained a gas leak in Escondido Thursday morning.

A broken gas line was reported in the area of Citracado Parkway and Auto Parkway, according to the city. Crews from the city, Escondido Fire Department and San Diego Gas & Electric contained the leak and are expected to work on repairs for the next few hours.

Officials advised the public to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
