Jicama is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 2-1/2-year-old, 51-pound, female, Border Collie mix.
She was found stray before being transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.
Jicama needs a family that will keep her active both physically and mentally.

She needs to “Trade Up.” That means you can’t just take something away from her. You need to trade her for something just as good, or better. It shows her that people are givers, and not just takers.
The $145 adoption fee for Jicama includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if her new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services.
