Man Killed In Escondido Motorcycle Crash Identified

Morgan Langley of Escondido was killed last weekend.

ESCONDIDO, CA -- Authorities Friday released the name of a 54-year-old man who was killed last weekend in a motorcycle crash in Escondido.

Morgan Langley of Escondido was riding to the south on Bear Valley Parkway when a motorist trying to enter Kit Carson Park made a left-hand turn directly in his path from a northbound lane shortly before 11 a.m. Saturday, according to police and the county Medical Examiner's Office.

The resulting collision left Langley with severe trauma to his upper body and right leg. Paramedics took him to Palomar Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries the following morning.

The motorist, a 32-year-old Escondido man, was unhurt, police traffic Sgt. Eric Olson said.
