San Diego Strike Force defeat Tucson Sugar Skulls 45-22

By David A. Willauer-Contributing Writer-4-28-25-Frontwave Arena-Oceanside, CA: After 2 earlier losses the San Diego Strike Force improve their record at 2-2 on the season as they defeated the Tucson Sugar Skulls by a 45-22 score before a crowd looked in the newly looked Frontwave Arena.

San Diego Strike Force performers: Nate Davis 183 yards passing threw 2 touchdown passes to Joe Nowden for 13 yards and a 29 yarder to Dallas Daniels(3 receptions for 62 yards). Helix alum Travon Van 37 yards receiving also rushed the ball for 39 yards and scored 1 touchdown run. Drayshawn Hudson 3 receptions for 35 yards

Taylor Genuser on his teams performance: "We started out on both sides of the ball as we got a turnover on both sides on our drives, we found our resilience to make the right plays." "QB Nate Davis has been doing this a long time in the IFL, did a good job to make things extra necessary for us." When we led 24-22, it's good to see our field goal kicker Ernesto Lozano contribute for us we weren't counted out as our offense kept driving for us to get the win for our squad."

The next game for the Strike Force is when they travel up to Northern CA and will take on the Bay Area Panthers on Sunday May 4th.
