Shania is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet This Week

Shania is a 7-year-old, 13-pound, female, Domestic Short Hair cat with a Torbie coat. That’s a mix of Tortoiseshell and Tabby.

She was surrendered to a shelter when her owner moved out of state. That shelter needed space for new arrivals. Shania was transferred to Rancho Costal Humane Society through Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS).

She has lived with dogs. At the other shelter, she lived with 6 cats.

Shania needs a quiet home. Her shy nature makes her easy to overlook in the shelter. She will thrive with a patient family that can give her time to adjust.

The $75 adoption fee for Shania includes spay, vaccinations, and registered microchip. If her adopter is 60 or older, the fee will be waived through Seniors for Seniors.

Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s next Free Pet Vaccination Clinic will be held on Saturday, October 3rd, from 9 AM – Noon at Brock’s Community Pet Food Bank on the RCHS North campus at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas.

This will include vaccinations for dogs and cats, Rabies vaccinations, licensing, microchips, pet food, and other supplies.
