Stabbing Reported In Escondido, Attacker Remains At Large
The victim was taken to Palomar Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said.

ESCONDIDO, CA – A man was stabbed in the neck early Sunday morning in Escondido and his attacker remained at large Monday, authorities said.
The stabbing took place about 3:30 a.m. in an apartment in the 1900 block of East Washington Avenue, Escondido police Lt. Ed Varso said. The victim was taken to Palomar Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The suspect fled the scene. No information about the suspect was immediately available, but detectives believe the suspect and the victim knew each other, Varso said. Details regarding any connection between the two, as well as what led up to the stabbing remain under investigation.
