Sweetie is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 2 year old, 53 pound, female, Hound mix.
Sweetie is one of the dogs that arrived at Rancho Coastal Humane Society on a Wings of Rescue flight a few weeks ago. The 18 dogs on the plane came from overcrowded animal shelters and rescues in 3 southern states. She was transferred through the Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS) program.
The name Sweetie is perfect for this dog. She brought along her southern charm.

She can be shy when she meets people the first time. Her new family will need to give her some extra attention as she gains confidence and understands that her life is better forever.
