Almond, Peanut Butters Recalled Due to Salmonella Fears

The goods in question were sold at Whole Foods, Kroger, and Trader Joe's.

nSpired Natural Foods is recalling several nut butter products that once lined the shelves of Kroger, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s due to potential salmonella contamination.

According to an FDA press release, the 43 peanut and almond butter products were voluntarily recalled by nSpired after the FDA alerted the company to the potential contamination during routine testing.

Brand names involved in the recall include Arrowhead Mills and Maranatha. Other private label nut butters are also being recalled due to salmonella fears. The full list of recalled products can be found on the FDA’s website.
