Bella Vista Boys Win 8th Straight
A first quarter rally helped the Bella Vista varsity boys basketball team to a 61-47 victory over Casa Roble High School.

After a slow start, the Bella Vista High School varsity boys basketball team found its stride, defeating Casa Roble High School at home 61-47 on Friday.
The Broncos received an early boost of momentum by taking an 18-12 lead to begin the second quarter. Bella Vista never looked back.
Matt Young was the Rams' main source of offense with a team-high 16 points. Young was the only Casa Roble player to score in double digits.

The Broncos' lead grew to 45-31 to begin the fourth quarter. Junior KJ Logue was Bella Vista's player of the game with 28 points and 14 rebounds. This was Logue's second-consecutive double-double.
Sophomore Ahmad Smith had an all-around good game, scoring 16 points and four steals. Junior Tanner Wright scored seven points in the win.

Michael Marlar was the Rams' second-leading scorer with eight points. Casa Roble (6-16, 2-6 Capital Valley Conference) plays at Rio Linda High School on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Bella Vista (14-11, 8-0 Capital Valley Conference) looks to stay undefeated in the Capital Valley when the Broncos host Oakmont High School on Wednesday at 7 p.m. This is the Broncos' last regular season home game.
