The is working hard to make Carmichael a beautiful place to live. In addition to high-end-hair-cuts and a trained team of aestheticians, this salon team also seems to find time to be active members in the Sacramento and Carmichael community.
In recognition of tough economic times, has begun to offer free hair cuts twice a year. While this service is available to everyone, these events are often geared towards helping those in the homeless community.

In addition to helping those less fortunate, Bellara is working on helping the environment by donating their used hair to the creation of mats that absorb oil in the ocean.
For the past three years, Bellara's owner, Megan Moon, has been leading this team of professionals to create a business that offers comfort and confidence to Carmichael, as well as developing close relationships throughout the community.

"I really like the area, it's a great community and there's a lot of potential here," Moon said.
Before coming to Carmichael, Moon spent eight years gaining experience in others salons in the Stockton and Folsom area. Her career has allowed her to create a loyal entourage of customers, who are willing to travel from as far as Los Angeles to receive her services.
Bellara can best be described as classy and sophisticated, with a homey touch. The salon specializes in long and curly hair but is often busy with weddings.
With a staff of ten, this salon offers the whole spa package. The staff is comprised of two aestheticians, a massage therapist, a nail technician and about half a dozen well-qualified stylists. Bellara hopes to expand this list by hiring on a few more aestheticians and another massage therapist.
The staff's experience ranges from a minimum of two and a half years of experience to as high as 20 years of experience. This wide variety allows Bellara to offer a variety of prices based on the individual experience levels of the staff member.
When asked why she got into the business, Moon expressed that she "fell in love with the fact that people can feel better about themselves." The welcoming environment and close attention to the customer's comfort are what make the Bellara Salon and Spa a business that you should know.
