- Of course burgers and hot dogs/chili cheese dogs with some grilled corn, baked potato/sweet potato with toppings, or canned beans.
- Burritos always work well...like carne asada (or chicken or your choice of meat), rice, beans (refried or black), then extra fillers like guacamole, sour cream, tomato (pico de gallo), corn, cheese, cilantro.
- One-pot fried rice with bacon (or other meats and sausage or your choice), scrambled eggs and veggies, like frozen peas or green beans, carrots, corn (or your choice) with soy sauce.
- One-pot chili with toppings and cornbread/muffins.
- BBQ ribs again with grilled corn, baked potato or canned beans and coleslaw or potato salad.
- Pasta dishes with your choice of meat (grilled chicken or Italian sausage) and sauce (marinara, alfredo or pesto) with garlic bread and salad tossed with favorite dressing.
- Cold pasta salads loaded with your favorite fixings and dressings.
- Kabobs or skewers with a variety of ingredients including chicken, tri-tip, beef cubes or shrimp, paired with fresh vegetables and fruits, smothered with your favorite marinades or dressings like barbeque, sweet and sour or teriyaki.
- Grilled chicken breast sandwiches with sides.
- Tri tip sandwiches with sauce and sides.
- Sloppy Joes (with cheese) with sides.
- BLT with cheese and avocado with sides.
- Tuna or Chicken Salad Sandwich with sides.
- Maybe some canned soups paired with the sandwiches to easily heat up.
