New Principal Named at Mira Loma HS

It is with great pleasure that we announce Rich Nichols as the newest principal at Mira Loma High School. 

Rich has a long history with Mira Loma. Not only is he a Mira Loma graduate, but he also did his student teaching here, and later became a vice principal. 

He is very familiar with the programs and functioning of the school. Becoming the principal, to Mr. Nichols, feels like "coming home." 

We hope that you will stop by and say hello during schedule pick-up and orientation, and any events on campus.

Editor's Note: Nichols replaces Paul Oropallo as Mira Loma principal. Oropallo is now a human resources director in the San Juan Unified School District office, said school secretary Ann Silberman.
