COMPOSITE SKETCH RELEASED: Citrus Heights Police Seek Murder Suspect
The Citrus Heights Police Department is hoping someone may recognize the suspect seen here.
The Citrus Heights Police Department released Wednesday a composite sketch of a man suspected in the fatal beating of a local man.
According to the department, Christopher Sargoni was severely beaten three weeks ago today. He died from those injuries four days later.
With no arrests made in the case yet-- and no known motive for the attack-- police are hoping someone may recognize the man pictured here. He's described as a white man in his mid-20s, about 5 foot 9 inches tall with a thin build, and was wearing dark clothing.
The following comes from a press release issued by the Citrus Heights Police Department:
On 10/23/13, just after 6:30 P.M., the Citrus Heights Police Department responded to the report of an assault that occurred in the 7700 block of Greenback Lane.
The disabled victim, Christopher Sorgani, was beaten by an unknown suspect and subsequently died on Sunday, 10/27/13 as a result of his injuries sustained during the attack. This investigation is ongoing and appears to be a stranger attack with no known motive.
Citrus Heights detectives with assistance from the local media have continued to pursue all possible leads associated with this heinous attack. As a result, a witness has come forward and provided information that resulted in the following sketch of an unidentified suspect.
The Citrus Heights Police Department continues to ask the community for its assistance in solving this crime.
