Woman Arrested After Allegedly Stealing From Thrift Store, Leaving Behind Wallet With Meth
August 29, 10:15 p.m.
A 27-year-old woman was arrested on drug-related charges after allegedly stealing from a thrift store and leaving behind her wallet, which contained methamphetamine. Police say Jenna Stolz, 27, stole several items from the store at 4126 Manzanita Ave., and fled on foot, but apparently forget her wallet in the thrift store shopping cart. An employee found the wallet, opened it and notified the store manager; when deputies responded, the suspect was found in an adjoining shopping center.
Stolz admitted the wallet, which also contained identification cards, belonged to her, and was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine. She entered the store, took off the clothes she had been wearing and put on clothes from the thrift store before leaving, according to Jason Ramos of the Sheriff's Office. The store manager did not want to prosecute her for the theft.

Tenants Vandalize Apartment Before Moving Out
August 16, 9 p.m.
Two tenants who had been given a three-day notice reportedly vandalized an apartment with spraypaint and removed cupboard doors and fixtures before moving out. At 10519 Fair Oaks Blvd., the Fairview Gardens Apartment Complex, on August 16, the suspects allegedly spray painted profanities on the interior apartment walls and removed cupboard doors and fixtures. They had already been given a 30-day notice, per the Sacramento County eviction process, Jason Ramos of the Sheriff's Department stated, and were at the "3-day pay or quit" stage.

The suspects moved to an unknown destination. The female suspect is described as a white adult, 31 years old, 5'6" and 120 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. The male suspect is described as a white adult, 36 years old, 6' and 215 pounds, with black hair and green eyes. Their names haven't been released because they haven't been arrested, so their identities are not yet subject to public disclosure, Ramos said.
Man Arrested After Biting Girlfriend's Face
August 26, 11 a.m.
A man was arrested on suspicion of assault-related charges after allegedly biting his girlfriend in the face, among other allegations. Anthony Harris, 44, allegedly became angry with his girlfriend of 10 months, when he lifted her off the ground, pushed her against the wall causing an indentation, and biting her in the face. She called the police and informed deputies, upon their arrival, that Harris had taken off in the direction of a bus stop, according to Jason Ramos of the Sheriff's Department. Harris was found at the nearby bus station with several bags of belongings; he was arrested, taken to the Main Jail and booked on assault-related charges.
Man Assaults Pregnant Girlfriend, Flees on Light Rail Train
August 28, 10 a.m.
A man who reportedly assaulted his pregnant girlfriend several times fled on a Light Rail train. The suspect – described as a 21-year-old Hispanic male adult, 5'6" and 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair – reportedly pushed his girlfriend to the ground, and later tried to choke her on the 5800 block of Winding Way. Later again in the day, the victim was driving the suspect to the Light Rail station, when he reached around and slapped his girlfriend in the mouth, causing injury. The suspect fled on a Light Rail train. The victim, who later called 911 to make a report, did not require medical attention.
