Jo Anna Philips, author of The Savvy Shopper’s Guide to Thrift and Consignment Stores, is coming to the Assistance League Thrift Shop on Friday, December 9, 2011 - Noon – 2 p.m
Ms. Phillips will sign copies of her popular book that highlights thrift shops in Auburn, Carson City, Cameron Park, Davis, Fallon, Gardnerville, Grass Valley, Incline Village, Jackson, Reno, Roseville, Sacramento, Tahoe and Vacaville.
Ms. Philips is a popular author and speaker, former newspaper columnist, feature writer, TV and radio host. She was a retail buyer for a major fashion chain prior to designing and manufacturing her own line of women’s sportswear, Giovanna Activewear, in San Francisco. Come visit her in our thrift shop located at 2528 Yorktown Avenue (Corner of El Camino near Watt), Sacramento.
