Thousands of volunteers will gather to pick up trash and debris along the American River Parkway, enhancing a 23-mile stretch of the river. In addition to the Clean Up, Dart Container Corporation is hosting a one day foam collection where residents can drop off their used foam for recycling, and help divert waste from local landfills. Dart will collect all clean foam for processing, including cups, plates and packaging foam.
