In November 2012, Metro Fire launched a new program called "It's YOUR Firehouse" in an effort to develop relationships while providing education to the families we serve. The goal of the program is to create a relaxed social environment where crews open their fire houses to their neighbors, talk over a cup of coffee, share stories, and strengthen our communities. All while educating our neighborhood children and sharing safety information pertinent to the specific risks these families face.
There will be activities for kids, safety tips, firefighter demonstrations, and tours of the station and apparatus. Light refreshments will be served
