New York celebrity photographer, Arty Pomerantz, recants how he got the photo of the rich and famous.

His photos have been on all major magazine covers and newspapers. He was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize and lost track years ago of the number of national and regional photography awards he has won.  His pictures have appeared in virtually every major newspaper and magazine in the country.

In fact, during the 40 years he was with the tabloids, at least 20 front-page pictures in any 30-day period were Arty’s handiwork.  His new book, Before the Paparazzi, contains over 250 pictures—most of them with an accompanying quote and story behind the picture.
