Sacramento Concert Band Holiday Concert

FREE BAND CONCERT!!!

The Sacramento Concert Band will present a free Holiday concert at 7:30 on Monday, Dec. 15, 2014 at Christ Community Church, 5025 Manzanita Ave., in Carmichael. The concert by the fifty piece band will include “Florintiner March”, a Richard Rodgers Medley (“There is Nothing Like a Dame”, “I Whistle a Happy Tune”, and “Climb Every Mountain”), and traditional Christmas and Hanukkah music.

This is the 46th season for the Sacramento Concert Band, a community band whose members range in age from 22 to 92. Music director Grant Parker said, “This year’s concert will be a fun evening of upbeat, enjoyable, and recognizable secular and holiday music. We’ll even have a singalong!”
