Veil Painting—5-day Course

The RSC website puts it best:  "This quiet but powerful technique consists of overlapping many transparent veils of watercolors on stretched paper. By beginning the first stage of the painting with color instead of an idea, the painter is involved with a world of universal laws more comprehensive than ones own creative intentions. A delicate formative structure appears in the second stage and in the third stage the artist can recognize a theme and encourage its emergence for the painting. For beginners, experienced painters, and grades 7 and 8 teachers who wish to teach veil painting."

Course is limited to 16 students and will be led by instructor Ted Mahle.  Registration takes place Monday, June 6, from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.  No meals will be served, so please bring a sack lunch.
