Fair Oaks Library Closed February 24-March 17

Renovations to update teen and meeting room areas; patrons can pick up holds at Sylvan Oaks.

The Fair Oaks Library will be closed for renovations from February 24 to March 17, reopening on Tuesday, March 18.

Patrons can pick up their holds at the Sylvan Oaks Library at 6700 Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights. The book drop at Fair Oaks will continue to operate during the closure.

The renovations will update the teen area and meeting room at the library, which was built in 1976. They are funded by a generous donation from the Friends of the Fair Oaks Library. The Rotary Club of Fair Oaks also helped fund the teen space. On March 29, the teen space will be dedicated with a grand reopening, including door prizes and a battle of local bands.
