Free Alzheimer’s CARE Training Workshop

Sacramento area families are invited to attend a
free Alzheimer’s CARE training workshop that will be offered in recognition of
World Alzheimer’s Month.  

Developed
by Home Instead Senior Care, the Alzheimer’s or Other Dementias CARE program
incorporates an innovative, hands-on approach to help families deal with the
difficult behavioral changes that often are associated with Alzheimer’s disease
or other dementias.

During
the workshop, program experts will teach caregivers how to:

· Manage
challenging behaviors

· Encourage
engagement

· Care for
themselves while caring for their loved one
