Go '50s for Carmichael Chamber Mixer
The "Hot August Knights" event and auction is taking place at a local storage center.
The Carmichael Chamber of Commerce is putting on a 1950s-themed mixer Saturday and combining it with an auction inspired by the show, "Storage Wars."
Participants are welcome to dress up for the "" event in leather jackets, denim jeans, bobby socks and poodle skirts. Since the mixer is a networking event, people should also bring business cards.
The free event is taking place at Armor Mini Storage. It starts at 5:30 p.m.
