Home Rentals Up in Carmichael, Elk Grove

The number of investor-owned, single-family homes in Carmichael and Elk Grove increased by 20 percent or more during the last four years, The Sacramento Bee reported.

During the last four years, the number of single-family homes in Sacramento County owned by people not living in them grew by 17,000, or 30 percent, according to a Bee review of property tax data.
