Probation violations accounted for the arrests of two people stopped in a car Thursday afternoon north of Carmichael.
Sheriff’s officers pulled over the vehicle driven by Golden Peters, 30, on a public roadway at Chippendale and College Oak drives in North Highlands, less than five miles north of Carmichael. Peters’ vehicle had a large crack in the windshield that ran from the driver’s side to the passenger side of the window.
According to a sheriff’s report, Peters was in violation of the terms of her probation and home detention program. Her passenger, 43-year-old Mack Murray, was in possession of a working stun gun, authorities said, a violation of his parole.
Both were booked at the county jail in Sacramento.
