This will be a hands-on performance with audience participation. There will be an opportunity to ask questions about the instrument and her musical career. She’ll also invite some children and other audience members to come on stage and play percussion instruments to accompany her flute.
Youngblood, who is half Seminole and half Aleut, started studying music at age 6, and has six albums to her credit. She’s been nominated for Grammys five times, and has twice won the Grammy for best "Best Native American Music Album.”
