The main subject panel of this majestic piece depicts the kingdom’s royal knight on horseback, assembling his troops together as they embark on a campaign. In the foreground are the foot soldiers with shields, swords, horns and banners. The knight son horsebacks are seen nearby the handle. Shields, helmets and arches complete the body decoration. Heraldic helmet plumage creates the thumblift. On top of the stein is a knight in full armor. The entire stein body is mounted on a filigree pedestal base. What makes this particular piece exceptional is the gold and copper hand painted areas that create a true symphony of metals. A limited edition of only 500 pieces!
