Thomas Brest, reported missing earlier today from his home in Carmichael, has been located in the Bay Area, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office announced.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man who went missing from his residence on the 4800 block of Andrew Circle in Carmichael earlier this morning.
Thomas Brest, 20, was last in contact with his family members by telephone
shortly after 10:30 a.m. this morning. Brest is considered at-risk due to his unstable mental and emotional condition.
Brest is a white male with short, blond hair and blue eyes. He is
5’10” tall and weighs about 150 lbs. He is believed to be driving a 2004
white Ford Mustang (CA license No. 6JFZ587). Brest made comments about possibly heading to the Bay Area when he last had contact with his family.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of this missing person is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at (916) 874-5115.
