Poll: Should Undocumented, Tamale-Selling Mom Be Deported?
Juana Reyes faces deportation after being arrested in Sacramento.

A mother selling tamales outside a south Sacramento Walmart went from being asked to leave the parking lot to facing deportation.
The Sacramento Bee reports that Juana Reyes, who is an undocumented immigrant, faces a deportation hearing next year. She was repeatedly asked to leave a Florin Road Walmart parking lot where she was selling tamales last month, according to The Bee. When she didn't budge, she was arrested.
Reyes has no criminal history, which under a proposed bill by a San Francisco lawmaker would prevent her from being reported to immigration officials. But should criminal past matter once a person is in the country without documentation?
