Carmichael Liquor Store Robberies Are Up

Sac. Co. Sheriff's meeting held at Del Campo HS.

Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies answered Carmichael-area residents' concerns about an increase in robberies, the examiner.com news web site reported.

"Sacramento Sheriff Deputy Brad Rose addressed the on last Tuesday in (the) library on Dewey Drive," writer Amrik Singh reported. "Robbers are specially making Carmichael liquor and convenience stores their most favored target."

", and an organizer of expressed his concern at the frequent robberies taking place in Carmichael recently," Singh wrote. "He spoke on behalf of Carmichael Liquor Store Owners’ Association."

"A list of 14 liquor stores that have been hit hard in the past few months was handed over to the Deputy," he continues. " on Fair Oaks Blvd was robbed twice in two months...Other victims of robberies are on El Camino, on Manzanita Ave, on Fair Oaks Blvd., Mission Liquor on Whitney Ave., on Marconi Ave., on El Camino, on Fair Oaks Blvd., on Winding Way, and on El Camino Ave."
