Sacramento Metro fire Station 29 Open House Saturday June 15th, 10 am to 12 Noon at 8681 GreenBack Lane in Orangevale

Metro Fire begins new initiative providing enhanced service to our citizens and their pets through "Project Breathe" in which each of Metro Fire's Engine Companies will carry a life saving kit for animals exposed to smoke inhalation as a result of fire.  Saturday June 15th at Station 29 (8681 Greenback Lane, Orangevale, CA) 10am to 12pm with the donation of the 78 kits taking place at 11am. Metro Fire will be giving equipment demonstrations and station tours will take place.  Also present will be members of California Task Force 7 USAR Search Dog Teams, Sheriff K9 Units, Metro Firefighters, Sparky the mascot, and refreshments will be provided. The event is free and members of the community, families, and the media are encouraged to attend.  Please see attached Press Release and Event Flyer
