Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction Fundraiser

Dear Valued Fair Oaks Community Member,

The Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District, along with the Fair Oaks Youth Advisory Board hopes that you will take a few moments to read about our upcoming event and decide to participate by attending the event and/or donating to our silent auction.

On February 27th, 2015 we will be hosting our Second Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser for the Rachel Anne Gray Memorial Scholarship. The event will be a dinner and silent auction at the St. Mel Parish Center from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. We anticipate approximately 250 guests at this function and the funds raised will go toward the Rachel Anne Gray Memorial Scholarship. The Scholarship was established in honor of Rachel Anne Gray who passed away September 2nd, 2012 at the age of 21. Rachel was a resident of Fair Oaks and a member of the Fair Oaks Youth Advisory Board from 2006 through 2008. Rachel graduated from Bella Vista High School (Fair Oaks) in 2008 and received her degree in International Business from California State University, Sacramento. Rachel was a valued member of the Fair Oaks community, who made a huge impact on young leaders, the community and the Fair Oaks Recreation and Park District staff.

To make this event as exciting and extravagant as we hope we will need your help! Please consider supporting our event by donating gift certificates, merchandise or services (minimum value of $25). In exchange, you will receive some excellent community exposure and advertising. Your company name, address, phone number and donation will be listed in the Auction Brochure, as well as on marketing materials at the event. Your donation is tax deductible and we would be happy to provide our Tax ID number upon your request.

We will gladly pick up your donation, or it can be mailed to the Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District address listed below. In order for your item to be included in the Auction Brochure we must receive it by Monday, February 23rd, 2015. Please fill out the attached Donation Form and return it to Katy at kcoss@fairoakspark.org or you can drop it off with your donation at the District office.
