Teen Maker Programs in July at the Sylvan Oaks and Fair Oaks Libraries

Join the Maker Movement. Each Google Maker Camp session will introduce a new skill set to participants. All materials provided. Programs are designed for ages 13-19.
 
Please note: These are not 3D printer sessions like those held at the Arcade Library Design Spot. Each program will allow participants to make something with their hands using materials provided in a kit by Google. Come get your hands into everything from electronics and software to Legos, balloons and recycled materials.

July 10. Thursday, 11 a.m.
Maker Camp: Rocket Cars @ Sylvan Oaks
Makers in Motion: Make a rocket-propelled toy car.
Registration is required to attend.
 
July 18, Friday,  2 p.m.
Maker Camp: Recycled Art @ Sylvan Oaks
Art and Design: Make new art from recycled materials.
Registration is required to attend.
 
July 24, Thursday, 11 a.m.
Maker Camp: Game Design @ Sylvan Oaks
Fun & Games/Game Design: Let's get serious about games and learn what makes a good game.
Registration is required to attend.
 
July 31, Thursday, 11 a.m.
Maker Camp: Intro to Electronics @ Sylvan Oaks
Science & Technology: Learn what it takes to make electronics work.
Registration is required to attend.
