The Sacramento Women's Chorus is excited to present their first Oktoberfest musical variety show, "Willkommen! A Choral Cabaret", which will be held on Saturday, October 19th at the La Sierra Community Center, 5325 Engle Road in Carmichael.
This delightful evening of music, food, fun, and a silent auction will begin at 5:30 pm with a dinner consisting of bratwurst, sauerkraut, potato salad, green salad, and a vegetarian alternative to bratwurst (cabbage rolls with lemon marinara sauce). Pretzels and mustard will be on the tables for snacking. Beer, wine, and soda will be available for purchase. Cake and coffee will be served for the dessert intermission.
The show begins at 7pm and will include special guests, Totally Tapioca, a five-part a cappella vocal group. The Sacramento Women's Chorus will perform a variety of choreographed songs including the signature song, "Cabaret" and The Supreme's 1965 hit, "Stop! In the Name of Love".
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available for purchase online through October 11th at the chorus' website: www.sacramentowomenschorus.org Attendees have the option of purchasing tickets for dinner and the show for $25 or dessert and the show for $15.
