• Fallbrook deputies arrest man with warrant after finding firearms, methamphetamine (fox5sandiego.com) — Fallbrook deputies arrested a 41-year-old man on an outstanding warrant after stopping his vehicle near South Pico Avenue and West Elder Street and allegedly finding methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and two firearms with altered serial numbers. The guns will be examined at the sheriff's Crime Lab as investigators work to identify their ownership, while the suspect faces multiple weapons and narcotics charges at the Vista Detention Facility.
• 11 Most Neighborly Towns In Southern California (worldatlas.com) — Fallbrook gets a prominent spotlight as a "Friendly Village" with its art center, land conservancy, Live Oak County Park, and local wineries forming a welcoming hub for residents and visitors.
