Caltrain Fatally Strikes Person in Menlo Park
The incident occurred at about 9:30 a.m. Friday.

A Caltrain struck and killed a person on the train tracks in Menlo Park Friday morning, an agency spokeswoman said.
At about 9:30 a.m., a northbound train fatally struck a person on the tracks on Ravenswood Avenue, Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said.
Two northbound and two southbound trains in the area were stopped following the incident, Dunn said.

She said at about 10 a.m. that southbound tracks would be reopening shortly, eliminating the need for a bus bridge to shuttle passengers around the area.
